You've followed the advice. The productivity system, the content calendar, the five-step launch plan someone swore would fix everything. Some of it even worked, for a bit. But you're still exhausted, still convinced there's a version of "doing business properly" that everyone else has cracked and you haven't, and you're starting to wonder if the problem is you.
It isn't.
I'm Jo Casey, and I've spent twenty-six years watching brilliant, driven people burn themselves out trying to fit a business model that was never built for how their brain actually works.
I didn't plan any of this, for what it's worth. I was a teenage soap actress at fifteen with no idea what came next, went to university for drama and media because that's what people like me were pointed toward, and landed in a call centre for a British telecom. A maternity cover training role came up. I applied on a whim, got it, and found out I loved it, partly the performance of it, partly because I turned out to have a real knack for taking something tangled and complicated and handing it back to someone in words that actually made sense to them.
From there I trained as a coach, twenty-six years ago now, back when almost nobody had heard the word. I fell for it completely: the respect, the equal footing, no one holding power over anyone else. I've coached and trained ever since, in government departments, blue-chip companies, and businesses so small they were run out of a spare room.

Jo is the real deal. She is a heart-centered take-no-bullshit woman… Jo’s word magic helped bring out the best in my message and content. And it wasn’t just Jo putting her words on my work, it was Jo seeing me, getting me, reflecting back to me…
Along the way I picked up an MA in Organisational Development and Coaching, BPS psychometric qualifications, NLP Master Practitioner training, and a hypnotherapy certification. But the thing that actually shapes how I work with people isn't on that list. I'm autistic, ADHD, and dyslexic. For most of my life I was just "the quirky one," a bit too radical and creative to be properly corporate, and I played that up even while it made me feel like a permanent outsider. Getting diagnosed later in life didn't just explain the outsider feeling, it explained why so much of the standard advice had never once fit.
That's who I work with now. Neurodivergent, heart-centred business owners, at any stage from not-yet-launched to well-established, who are done being sold hustle culture and algorithm chasing as the only route to a living.
You don't need to overhaul your brain to make this work. You need a business built around the way your brain already works.

Outside of work, I live in the northwest of England with my husband, my daughter, and the dog, and I spend an unreasonable amount of time sewing, gardening, weeding, and belting out Jesus Christ Superstar at a volume nobody asked for.
Working with Jo, I never felt stuck. Whenever I hit a snag, she was there to say 'OK, let's work out what's going on here.' She approaches every situation in a very supportive and neurodivergent-friendly way. As an Autistic entrepreneur with ADHD I found this invaluable — and very rare.
Eli Trier Visual Artist and Community BuilderWorking with Jo, gave me a laser-focus to growing my coaching practice. I had been trying every tip and technique in the book and running myself ragged with dismal results. She helped me pinpoint where my passions and talents lie and gave me the courage to let go of the actions that I didn’t enjoy and weren’t bringing me any closer to success.
On a regular basis, I have the giddy pleasure of hopping on the Magick Interwebz and being transported halfway around the world to the warm, insightful, and funny-as-f#ck presence of Jo Casey in her cozy home office in England. She has helped me to ‘land’ in myself as a coach by encouraging me to tap deeply into my love for my clients and this work, and assisted with refining my message through her spot-on analyses and unflagging support.
